Kindred Family Services is meeting the needs of families in Auckland’s fastest growing district.

Who are Kindred Family Services?

Kindred Family Services is the new name of the recently merged Helensville Women and Family Centre and Kia Tīmata Anō Women's Refuge. The two organizations pooled their resources in order to offer more essential family services to more people in the West Rodney area.

What services do they provide?

Kindred Family Services are dedicated to helping people overcome life's challenges and live the life they choose. They offer flexible and wide ranging support to families in the west Rodney area.

Services include

  • Mental health and addictions support for men, women, and youth.
  • Food Bank and budgeting support for families struggling to make ends meet.
  • Support through stressful family events, such as separation or loss.
  • Walking alongside families involved with state services, including Orange Tamariki and WINZ.
  • Specialist family harm advice and support for both women and men.

Am I eligible for support?

If you are a parent or caregiver in the West Rodney area, then you are eligible for support.

West Rodney includes Helensiville, Muriwai/Waimauku, Kumeu, Riverhead, as well as the surrounding areas.

How much does it cost?

How can I get help when I need it?
